Let it Rain

Heb. 10:35-37
"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry."

James 5:7, 8
"Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts; for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

It is not essential for us to be able to define just what the Holy Spirit is. The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views, may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on them, but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church. The office of the Holy Spirit is distinctly specified in the words of Christ:
"When He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment."
John 16:8.

It is the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin. If the sinner responds to the quickening influence of the Spirit, he will be brought to repentance and aroused to the importance of obeying the divine requirements. The Spirit is given as a regenerating agency, to make effectual, the salvation wrought by the death of our Redeemer. The Spirit is constantly seeking to draw the attention of men to the great offering that was made on the cross of Calvary, to unfold to the world, the love of God, and to open to the convicted soul, the precious things of the Scriptures. Having brought conviction of sin, and presented before the mind the standard of righteousness, the Holy Spirit withdraws the affections from the things of this earth, and fills the soul with a desire for holiness.
If men are willing to be molded, there will be brought about a sanctification of the whole being.

The Spirit will take the things of God, and stamp them on the soul. By His power, the way of life will be made so plain, that none need err therein. From the beginning, God has been working by His Holy Spirit through human instrumentalities for the accomplishment of His purpose in behalf of the fallen race. This was manifest in the lives of the patriarchs. To the church in the wilderness also, in the time of Moses, God gave His "good Spirit to instruct them." Nehemiah 9:20. And in the days of the apostles, He worked mightily for His church, through the agency of the Holy Spirit.

The same power that sustained the patriarchs, that gave Caleb and Joshua faith and courage, and that made the work of the apostolic church effective, that same power has upheld God's faithful children in every succeeding age. It was through the power of the Holy Spirit, that during the Dark Ages, the Waldensian Christians helped to prepare the way for the Reformation. It was the same power that made successful, the efforts of the noble men and women, who pioneered the way for the establishment of modern missions, and for the translation of the Bible into the languages and dialects of all nations and peoples. And today, God is still using His church to make known His purpose in the earth.

Today, the heralds of the cross are going from city to city, and from land to land, preparing the way for the second advent of Christ. The standard of God's law is being exalted. The Spirit of the Almighty is moving upon men's hearts, and those who respond to its influence, become witnesses for God and His truth. In many places, consecrated men and women, may be seen communicating to others, the light that has made plain to them, the way of salvation through Christ. And as they continue to let their light shine, as did those who were baptized with the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, they receive more, and still more, of the Spirit's power. The outpouring of the Spirit in the days of the apostles was the beginning of the early, or former rain, and glorious was the result. Thus the earth is to be lightened with the glory of God. {AA 51-53}

That is what the "early rain" did, and does.

Just like a farmer who prepares the land for the seed, he must wait first for the early rain to fall, so that the soil can be worked. The human heart is the land in which the Holy Spirit is to work on, so that the truths of God can be planted. Once the heart is softened, then the Holy Spirit plants the seeds of truth, and the seeds starts to sprout in the heart. The seeds continues to grow into marvelous plants, and then the plants produces the fruits. As time wears on, the fruits can be seen, and it is known what those fruits are, by their appearance, being pears, apples, or even heads of broccoli. In any case, the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE. Love will manifest from the heart. Every word, every action, will have Love, all in them. Then the "latter rain" will fall, and the farmer goes to collect the harvest. The harvest is soon to come.

It is impossible for the seeds to flourish in a heart that has not been worked. It may appear to be growing, but when the winds come, (which are trials and temptations), and the seeds that have fallen by the wayside, they are blown away, never to be rooted. Or when the heat of the sun beams down on the tender plant that has fallen on stony ground, and has not taken root, nor watered and nourished by the soil, they just burn up. They will not be part of the harvested fruit.

To the end of time, the presence of the Spirit is to abide with the true church of God. But near the close of earth's harvest, a special bestowal of spiritual grace is promised to prepare the church for the coming of the Son of man. This outpouring of the Spirit is likened to the falling of the latter rain; and it is for this added power, that Christians are to send their petitions to the Lord of the harvest "in the time of the latter rain." In response, "the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain." "He will cause to come down . . . the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain," Zechariah 10:1; Joel 2:23. But unless the members of God's church today have a living connection with the Source of all spiritual growth, they will not be ready for the time of reaping. Unless they keep their lamps trimmed and burning, they will fail of receiving added grace in times of special need.

Those only who are constantly receiving fresh supplies of grace, will have power proportionate to their daily need, and their ability to use that power. Instead of looking forward to some future time when, through a special endowment of spiritual power, they will receive a miraculous fitting up for soul winning, they are yielding themselves daily to God, that He may make them vessels meet for His use.

Daily they are improving the opportunities for service that lie within their reach.
Daily they are witnessing for the Master wherever they may be, whether in some humble sphere of labor in the home, or in a public field of usefulness.

To the consecrated worker there is wonderful consolation in the knowledge that even Christ, during His life on earth, sought His Father daily for fresh supplies of needed grace; and from this communion with God, He went forth to strengthen and bless others. Behold the Son of God bowed in prayer to His Father! Though He is the Son of God, He strengthens His faith by prayer, and by communion with heaven, gathers to Himself, power to resist evil, and to minister to the needs of men. As the Elder Brother of our race, He knows the necessities of those who, compassed with infirmity, and living in a world of sin and temptation, still desire to serve Him.

He knows that the messengers whom He sees fit to send are weak, erring men; but to all who give themselves wholly to His service, He promises divine aid. His own example is an assurance that earnest, persevering supplication to God in faith--faith that leads to entire dependence upon God, and unreserved consecration to His work--will avail to bring to men, the Holy Spirit's aid in the battle against sin.

Every worker who follows the example of Christ will be prepared to receive and use the power that God has promised to His church for the ripening of earth's harvest. Morning by morning, as the heralds of the gospel kneel before the Lord and renew their vows of consecration to Him, He will grant them the presence of His Spirit, with its reviving, sanctifying power. As they go forth to the day's duties, they have the assurance that the unseen agency of the Holy Spirit enables them to be "laborers together with God." {AA 51-56}

May God tend to you until the harvest.

The Midnight Cry- The Bridegroom is Coming

Matt. 25:1-13
25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

I will have to make this a short reading due to all the information that is available.

However, the main points will be made.

The ten virgins are representing God's children, the Christian.

"The 10 virgins..... all claim to be Christians. All have a call, a name, a lamp, and all profess to be doing God's service. All apparently wait for Christ's appearing." COL 412

Christ uses "midnight" because that is the darkest period of the night. So that goes to say that the Christian is watch the events that's going on "at the darkest hour of earth's history".

"The 10 virgins are watching in the evening of this earth's history". COL 412

Then, there is that call that comes at midnight, a loud cry, a great shout, "The Bridegroom cometh, The Bridegroom cometh, let's go out to meet him".
"Jesus is coming, Jesus is coming, let's go out to meet Him".

The 10 virgins all have oil in their lamps, but 5 does not have enough.

Oil in Bible terms represents the Holy Spirit. 5 of then did not allow the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts, to work in them, in creating a new nature.

So 5 went to buy some oil, they went to seek the Holy Spirit, which they could , and would not find.

"They receive the word with readiness, but they fail of assimilating its principles. Its influence is not abiding. The Spirit works upon man's heart, according to his desire and consent implanting in him a new nature; but the class represented by the foolish virgins have been content with a superficial work. They do not know God. They have not studied His character; they have not held communion with Him; therefore they do not know how to trust, how to look and live. Their service to God degenerates into a form". COL 411

When they thought that they had found enough oil, or when they thought that the Holy Spirit have caused a reformation in their hearts, they returned only to find the door of the reception, closed. What a tragedy.

They missed the reception, they missed the party, the missed the Joy for eternity with Jesus.

The darkest period of earth's history is upon us. We are to allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, and to do His good pleasure.

Phil. 2:13 "For it is God which worketh in you both, (in us) to will and to do of his good pleasure".

"It is the darkness of misapprehension of God that is enshrouding the world. Men are losing their knowledge of His character. It has been misunderstood and misinterpreted. At this time a message from God is to be proclaimed, a message illuminating in its influence and saving in its power. His character is to be made known. Into the darkness of the world is to be shed the light of His glory, the light of His goodness, mercy, and truth". COL 415

"The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them." COL 415

Matt. 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven".

"Thus in the night of spiritual darkness God's glory is to shine forth through His church in lifting up the bowed down and comforting those that mourn. All around us are heard the wails of a world's sorrow. On every hand are the needy and distressed. It is ours to aid in relieving and softening life's hardships and misery. Practical work will have far more effect than mere sermonizing. We are to give food to the hungry, clothing to the naked, and shelter to the homeless. And we are called to do more than this. The wants of the soul, only the love of Christ can satisfy. If Christ is abiding in us, our hearts will be full of divine sympathy. The sealed fountains of earnest, Christlike love will be unsealed." COL 417

I pray that we will not miss the reception.

Have a great day in the Lord.

The Great Supper

Luke 14:16-24

Luke 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
14:21 So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

Under the parable of a great supper, our Saviour shows that many will choose the world above Himself, and will, as the result, lose heaven. The gracious invitation of our Saviour was slighted. He had been to the trouble and expense to make great preparation at an immense sacrifice. Then he sent his invitation. (2T 39-41)

"A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: and sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. Luke 14:16-17

"And they all with one consent began to make excuse". (Luke 14:18)

"The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused."

In putting his property before service for Christ, this man exalted a matter of minor importance above that which was of far greater importance.

"And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused."

This man represents those whose minds are so completely engrossed in caring for their earthly possessions, that they cannot appreciate the goodness and mercy of Christ in conferring upon them the honor of being invited guests at the great supper.

"And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come."

The sin of this man was not in marrying, but in marrying one who divorced his mind from the higher and more important interests of life. Never should a man allow wife, and home, to draw his thoughts away from Christ, or to lead him to refuse to accept the gracious invitations of the gospel.

"As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days when the Son of man shall be revealed" [see Luke 17:26, 30].

One of the most marked features of the earth's inhabitants in the days of Noah was their intense worldliness. They made eating and drinking, buying and selling, marrying and giving in marriage, the supreme objects of life. It is not sinful, but the fulfillment of a duty, to eat and drink, if that which is lawful is not carried to excess. And in the days of Noah it was lawful to marry. God Himself instituted marriage when He gave Eve to Adam.

All God's laws are marvelously adapted to meet the nature of man. The sin of the antediluvians was in perverting that which in itself was lawful. They corrupted God's gifts by using them to minister to their selfish desires. The indulgence of appetite and base passion made their imaginations altogether corrupt. The antediluvians were slaves of Satan, led and controlled by him. They worshipped selfish indulgence--eating, drinking, merry-making--and resorted to acts of violence and crime if their desires and passions were interfered with.

In the days of Noah, the overwhelming majority was opposed to the truth, and enamored with a tissue of falsehoods. The land was filled with violence. War, crime, murder, was the order of the day. Just so will it be before Christ's second coming. The great multitude will be without Christ and without hope.

Christ is coming soon. Satan knows that time is short, and that he has but a little while longer in which to work. He will not rest at ease, as many professed Christians are doing, but will continue to work with intensity.

It cannot be said that the majority of those who claim to be Christians are truly spiritual-minded.
As true today as when uttered by the lips of the great Teacher, are the words:

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able" [Luke 13:24].

"For wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" [Matt. 7:13, 14].
{19MR 247.3}

Brothers and Sister, the Lord has called you to the Supper. I pray that we all receive the invitation, and go to the Supper, without excuse.

Just as in the invitation given in Matt. 22, the King has prepared a wedding feast for His Son. His own family members, and friends, made light of it and went on doing their own thing, as in the days of Noah. He even prepared the clothing for the quest to wear.

I pray that we all receive the invitation and the clothing that we may see each other there, at the feast /supper.

May God continue to be with us all.

God Bless.

John Hopkins-Latest Findings On Cancer

Exodus 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHN HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY.

Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells becausethey have not reached the detectable size. Cancer cells occur between 6, to more than 10 times, in a person's lifetime.

When the person's immune system is strong, the cancer cells will be destroyed, and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors. When a person has cancer, it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements, will strengthen the immune system.

Let’s see what other’s had to say almost 100 yrs. before this report.

But first let’s look at the Word of God.

Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.
1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;
1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
1:11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
1:13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

Daniel valued his human capabilities, but he did not trust in them. His trust was in that strength which God has promised to all who will come to Him in humble dependence, relying wholly upon His power. {CD 154.2}

He purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank; for he knew that such a diet would not strengthen his physical powers or increase his mental capability. He would not use wine, nor any other unnatural stimulant; he would do nothing to becloud his mind; and God gave him "knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom," and also "understanding in all visions and dreams.". . . {CD 154.3}

Daniel's parents had trained him in his childhood to habits of strict temperance. They had taught him that he must conform to nature's laws in all his habits; that his eating and drinking had a direct influence upon his physical, mental, and moral nature, and that he was accountable to God for his capabilities; for he held them all as a gift from God, and must not, by any course of action, dwarf or cripple them. {CD 154.4}

The experience of Daniel and his youthful companions illustrates the benefits that may result from an abstemious diet, and shows what God will do for those who will cooperate with Him in the purifying and uplifting of the soul.

There may be such an effort at economy in the preparation of food, that, instead of a healthful diet, it becomes a poverty-stricken diet. What is the result? -- Poverty of the blood. I have seen several cases of disease most difficult to cure, which were due to impoverished diet. The persons thus afflicted were not compelled by poverty to adopt a meager diet, but did so in order to follow out their own erroneous ideas of what constitutes health reform. Day after day, meal after meal, the same articles of food were prepared without variation, until dyspepsia and general debility resulted. {CTBH 57.2}

"Many who adopt the health reform complain that it does not agree with them; but after sitting at their tables I come to the conclusion that it is not the health reform that is at fault, but the poorly prepared food. I appeal to men and women to whom God has given intelligence: learn how to cook.
Investigate your habits of diet. Study from cause to effect, but do not bear false witness against health reform by ignorantly pursuing a course which militates against it. Do not neglect or abuse the body, and thus unfit it to render to God that service which is his due". {CTBH 58.1}

Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc. Radiation, while destroying cancer cells, also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues, and organs.

Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However, prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation, do not result in more tumor destruction.
When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation, the immune system is either compromised, or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

"Medicine deranges nature's fine machinery, and breaks down the constitution, and kills, but never cures". 2SM 498

Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
100 years or so ago, they did not have chemo or radiation, but instead had mercury therapy.

Let’s look at what happened back then.

“The third case was again presented before me. It was that of the young man to whom was administered calomel. He was a great sufferer. His lips were dark and swollen. His gums were inflamed. His tongue was thick and swollen, and the saliva was running from his mouth in large quantities. The intelligent gentleman before mentioned looked sadly upon the sufferer, and said: "This is the influence of mercurial preparations. This young man had sufficient nervous energy remaining to begin a warfare upon this intruder, this drug poison, to attempt to expel it from the system. Many have not sufficient life-force left to arouse to action; and nature is overpowered, ceases her efforts, and the victim dies." RH August 22, 1899

An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON: SUGAR
Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar, it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells.

Every doctor learned back in medical school all about Otto Warburg's discovery; a discovery of humongous proportions, because way back in the thirties Otto discovered the main biochemical cause of cancer, or what differentiates a cancer cell from a normal, healthy cell. So big a discovery was this, that Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize.

Cancer has only one prime cause. It is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of the body's cells by an anaerobic [i.e., oxygen-deficient] cell respiration. -Dr. Otto Warburg
But what else does Warburg's discovery tell us. First off, it tells us that cancer metabolizes much differently than normal cells. Normal cells need oxygen. Cancer cells despise oxygen. In fact, oxygen therapy is a favorite among many of the alternative clinics we've researched. Another thing this tells us is that cancer metabolizes through a process of fermentation. If you've ever made wine, you'll know that fermentation requires sugar. The metabolism of cancer is approximately 8 times greater than the metabolism of normal cells.

Okay, so here is what we can put together knowing the above: The body is constantly overworked trying to feed this cancer. The cancer is constantly on the verge starvation and thus constantly asking the body to feed it. When the food supply is cut off, the cancer begins to starve unless it can make the body produce sugar to feed itself.

Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc., are made with Aspartame, and it is harmful.

"Aspartame is the second most widely used artificial sweetener in the world. It is found in more than 6,000 products including carbonated and powdered soft drinks, hot chocolate, chewing gum, candy, desserts, yogurt, and tabletop sweeteners, as well as some pharmaceutical products like vitamins and sugar-free cough drops. More than 200 million people worldwide consume it. The sweetener has been used for more than 30 years, having first been approved by the FDA in 1974. Studies of the carcinogenicity of aspartame performed by its producers have been negative. Researchers administered aspartame to Sprague-Dawley rats by adding it to a standard diet. They began studying the rats at 8 weeks of age and continued until the spontaneous death of each rat.

Treatment groups received feed that contained concentrations of aspartame at dosages simulating human daily intakes of 5,000, 2,500, 500, 100, 20, and 4 mg/kg body weight. Groups consisted of 100 males and 100 females at each of the three highest dosages and 150 males and 150 females at all lower dosages and controls. The experiment ended after the death of the last animal at 159 weeks. At spontaneous death, each animal underwent examination for microscopic changes in all organs and tissues, a process different from the aspartame studies conducted 30 years ago and one that was designed to allow aspartame to fully express any carcinogenic potential. The treated animals showed extensive evidence of malignant cancers including lymphomas, leukemias, and tumors at multiple organ sites in both males and females. The authors speculate the increase in lymphomas and leukemias may be related to one of the metabolites in aspartame, namely methanol, which is metabolized in both rats and humans to formaldehyde. Both methanol and formaldehyde have shown links to lymphomas and leukemias in other long-term experiments by the same authors". (Medical News Today..Nov. 23, 05)

A better natural substitute would be Manuka.

Active Manuka Honey is a naturally organic, medicinal, anti-bacterial honey, researched for over 20 years by Dr. Peter Molan, Waikato University, New Zealand.

It is a New Zealand tree: a tree of the myrtle family with aromatic leaves sometimes used for tea.

You can also use honey or molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's amino’s or sea salt.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON: Milk. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk, and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.

Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic, and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken, rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones, and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruit help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that areeasily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetable s 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

Avoid coffee, tea, a and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrefied and leads to more toxic build-up. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat, it frees more enzymes to attack theprotein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells. 14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells.

Other supplements, like vitamin E, are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted anted, or unneeded cells. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, resentment, and bitterness, put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

I pray that this information is useful to you.

God bless and have a good day in the Lord.

The Year of the Bible

Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws".

Blessed day to all.

Today's top story is about the Bible.

GC 386 "A profession of religion has become popular with the world. Rulers, politicians, lawyers, doctors, merchants, join the church as a means of securing the respect and confidence of society, and advancing their own worldly interests. Thus they seek to cover all their unrighteous transactions under a profession of Christianity. The various religious bodies, re-enforced by the wealth and influence of these baptized worldlings, make a still higher bid for popularity and patronage".

With that in mind, I will direct you to the following news link:

The lamb-like horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented. The "speaking" of the nation is the action of its legislative and judicial authorities. By such action it will give the lie to those liberal and peaceful principles which it has put forth as the foundation of its policy. The prediction that it will speak "as a dragon," and exercise "all the power of the first beast," plainly foretells a development of the spirit of intolerance and persecution that was manifested by the nations represented by the dragon and the leopard-like beast. And the statement that the beast with two horns "causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast," indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the papacy. {GC88 442.1}

Such action would be directly contrary to the principles of this government, to the genius of its free institutions, to the direct and solemn avowals of the Declaration of Independence, and to the Constitution. The founders of the nation wisely sought to guard against the employment of secular power on the part of the church, with its inevitable result--intolerance and persecution. The Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," and that "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office of public trust under the United States." Only in flagrant violation of these safeguards to the nation's liberty, can any religious observance be enforced by civil authority. But the inconsistency of such action is no greater than is represented in the symbol. It is the beast with lamb-like horns--in profession pure, gentle, and harmless-- that speaks as a dragon. {GC88 442.2}

"Saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast." Here is clearly presented a form of government in which the legislative power rests with the people; a most striking evidence that the United States is the nation denoted in the prophecy. {GC88 443.1}

But what is the "image to the beast"? and how is it to be formed? The image is made by the two-horned beast, and is an image to the first beast. It is also called an image of the beast. Then to learn what the image is like, and how it is to be formed, we must study the characteristics of the beast itself, --the papacy. When the early church became corrupted by departing from the simplicity of the gospel, and accepting heathen rites and customs, she lost the Spirit and power of God; and in order to control the consciences of the people she sought the support of the secular power. The result was the papacy, a church that controlled the power of the State, and employed it to further her own ends, especially for the punishment of "heresy." In order for the United States to form an image of the beast, the religious power must so control the civil government that the authority of the State will also be employed by the church to accomplish her own ends. {GC88 443.2}

May God have mercy on us all.

Thanks and God Bless, Anthony

Self-Respect, Self-Control

Scripture Reading for this day is as follows: Proverbs 29:1, 2, 9, 11

Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

29:9 If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.

29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

The theme of the book of Proverb is to exalt wisdom. Wisdom is the foundation in which to maintain a "right relationship" with God. Most of the instuctions given, are for ethical and moral support, rather than spiritual support. They are the secrets of true success in our relatonship with God, and man, if they are put into practice.

"Its principles of diligence, honesty, thrift, temperance, and purity are the secret of true success. These principles, as set forth in the book of Proverbs, constitute a treasury of practical wisdom". (Ed. 135)

There are some in the church who seem to always make excuses for sin. Some may say "You know they are not right mentally". Still some may say "You know they do not mean it", and still some say, "We have to meet them where they are". Then you have the leader of the church, that turns the table againt indiviual who calls sin by it's rightful name, sin, and makes it look like they are the one who is wrong in calling sin, sin. "So who made you the judge?" Satan loves that statement, because the statement itself is judgemental.

The wise man Solomon, advises us in Proverbs 29:1-2 "He that being often reproved, hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn".

The Amplified version says it this way:

1HE WHO, being often reproved, hardens his neck shall suddenly be destroyed--and that without remedy.
2When the uncompromisingly righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man (the compromising man) rules, the people groan and sigh.

Sin Must Be Searched Out and Reproved. The history of Achan teaches the solemn lesson that for one man's sin, the displeasure of God will rest upon a people, or a nation, till the transgression is searched out and punished. Sin is corrupting in its nature. One man infected with its deadly leprosy, may communicate the taint to thousands. Those who occupy responsible positions as guardians of the people are false to their trust if they do not faithfully search out and reprove sin. Many dare not condemn iniquity, lest they shall thereby sacrifice position or popularity. And by some, it is considered uncharitable to rebuke sin. The servant of God should never allow his own spirit to be mingled with the reproof which he is required to give; but he is under the most solemn obligation to present the Word of God, without fear or favor. He must call sin by its right name. Those, who by their carelessness or indifference, permit God's name to be dishonored by His professed people, are numbered with the transgressor, registered in the record of heaven as partakers in their evil deeds.... The love of God will never lead to the belittling of sin; it will never cover or excuse an unconfessed wrong. Achan learned too late that God's law, like its Author, is unchanging. It has to do with all our acts, and thoughts, and feelings. It follows us, and reaches every secret spring of action. By indulgence in sin, men are led to lightly regard the law of God. Many conceal their transgressions from their fellow men, and flatter themselves that God will not be strict to mark iniquity. But His law is the great standard of right, and with it, every act of life must be compared in that day when God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or evil. Purity of heart will lead to purity of life. All excuses for sin are vain. Who can plead for the sinner when God testifies against him? (ST April 21, 1881). {2BC 996.7}

Those that are true servants of God, are to call sin by it's right name, in Christlike love. We are to educate those , pray with those, and show love for those, that are erring.

"It is true there is an indignation that is justifiable, even in the followers of Christ. When they see that God is dishonored, and His service brought into disrepute, when they see the innocent oppressed, a righteous indignation stirs the soul. Such anger, born of sensitive morals, is not a sin. But those who at any supposed provocation feel at liberty to indulge anger or resentment are opening the heart to Satan. Bitterness and animosity must be banished from the soul if we would be in harmony with heaven". {DA 310}

Proverbs 29:9 "If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest".

Amplified version says it thus "If a wise man has an argument with a foolish man, the fool only rages or laughs, and there is no rest".

Proverbs 29:11 "A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards".

So it goes to say, we have to have self respect, and self control. Without it, we will never see the kingdom of Heaven. Why would I say that? Listen to the next statement:

"Satan left the immediate presence of the Father, dissatisfied, and filled with envy against Jesus Christ. Concealing his real purposes, he assembled the angelic host. He introduced his subject, which was himself.

As one aggrieved, he (Satan) related the preference God had given Jesus to the neglect of himself. He told them that henceforth all the sweet liberty the angels had enjoyed was at an end. For, had not a ruler been appointed over them, to whom they from henceforth must yield servile honor? He stated to them that he had called them together to assure them that he no longer would submit to this invasion of his rights and theirs; that never would he again bow down to Christ; that he would take the honor upon himself which should have been conferred upon him, and would be the commander of all who would submit to follow him and obey his voice. There was contention among the angels....... Angels that were loyal and true, sought to reconcile this mighty, rebellious angel to the will of his Creator. Lucifer refused to listen.......Lucifer had lost self-respect and self-control. {SR 15.2}

Gal. 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Another word for lust is selfishness.

5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (through selfishness).

1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure.

A Sobering Thought

I would first start off by saying, "Good Morning".

As I was doing my morning devotion, I came across the following reading, which comes from Last Day Events, EGW. It reads as follows:

Satan's Last Day Deceptions
Under the Garb of Christianity

We are approaching the end of this earth's history, and Satan is working as never before. He is striving to act as director of the Christian world. With an intensity that is marvelous, he is working with his lying wonders. Satan is represented as walking about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He desires to embrace the whole world in his confederacy. Hiding his deformity under the garb of Christianity, he assumes the attributes of a Christian, and claims to be Christ Himself. 8MR 346, 1901

The Word of God declares that when it suits the enemy's purpose, he will, through his agencies, manifest so great a power under a pretense of Christianity that, "if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect" [Matt. 24:24] MS 125, 1901

As the spirits will profess faith in the Bible, and manifest respect for the institutions of the church, their work will be accepted as a manifestation of divine power. GC 588 (1911)

The strongest bulwark of vice in our world is not the iniquitous life of the abandoned sinner or the degraded outcast; it is that life which otherwise appears virtuous, honorable, and noble, but in which one sin is fostered, one vice indulged. . . . Genius, talent, sympathy, even generous and kindly deeds, may thus become decoys of Satan to entice souls over the precipice of ruin. Ed 150 (1903).

So when I read that, I am not directed to one person or group, but to the spirit of deception. So then the question that arise is: "Am I deceived, or am I being deceived"?

Sister White had that same concern in her days. Let's take a look at one of here statements she made years ago, which also pertains to us today.

".... The enemy is at work, to divide, to scatter. Now as never before, he will make determined efforts to scatter our forces. Above every other period, it is unsafe now for us to move out in lines of our own. The truth for this time is broad in its outlines, far reaching, embracing many doctrines; but these doctrines are not detached items, which mean little; they are united by golden threads, forming a complete whole, with Christ as the living center. The truths we present from the Bible are as firm and immovable as the throne of God. {2SM 87.1}

Satan will work with all deceivableness of unrighteousness to personate Jesus Christ; if it were possible, he would deceive the very elect. Now if the counterfeit bears so close a resemblance to the genuine, is it not essential to be on your guard, that no man deceive you? Christ enforces His warnings, saying, "Behold, I have told you before" (Matt. 24:25). {2SM 87.2}

Brethren, preach the Word, call not the people to rest their faith upon uncertain things or to place confidence in the human agent. I have the word from the Lord. I was shown Elder R before a number of persons reading from the professed revelations of Anna Phillips. A noble, dignified Person was present, and with a grieved expression upon His countenance He removed the written document, placed in Brother R's hand the Bible, and said, "Take the Word of God as your textbook,

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Tim. 3:16, 17). {2SM 87.3}

"Those who search the Scriptures will find explicit instruction as to what God requires of them on points of practical religious life. You are making a mistake in calling the attention of the flock of God from the Word, the unerring word of prophecy. Take heed what you hear, and be cautious what you receive. There is need of caution lest the minds of the little flock shall be found accrediting that which is not the genuine work of the Holy Spirit. There is a very great danger here. Satan is ever seeking to introduce spurious material into the work, in order that he may mar the testimony, and bring discredit upon the truth. He would mingle with it, an element that would be a stumbling block in the pathway of God's people." {2SM 88.1}

The commandments of God, and the testimony of Jesus, is the message we have to bear to the world. The Word of God is not one-sided, it is truth to be practiced. It is light extending on every side, like the rays of the sun. It is light to lighten every man who will read and understand and practice its teachings.

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" (James 1:5). Letter 103, 1894. {2SM 88.2}"

As the wheat and the tares grow together, be not in the bunch that is bound together and burned. I prefer to see you Heaven bound than earth bound.

As we go through our day, I will continually keep you, (all of humanity) in my prayers, that we may not be deceived by the wiles of Satan.

Let's pray the prayer of David: Psalms 141

141:1 LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.
141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
141:4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
141:5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities. 141:6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
141:7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.
141:8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.
141:9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.
141:10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
May God bless us all today.

Let's take a look into Heaven

Scripture Reading

Old Testament
Psalms 19:1-4
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun."

New Testament
John 14:1-3
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

The theme of redemption is one that the angels desire to look into. It will be the science and the song of the redeemed, throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity. Is it not worthy of careful thought and study now?

The infinite love and mercy of Jesus, the sacrifice made in our behalf, calls for the most serious and solemn reflection. We should dwell upon the character of our dear Redeemer and Intercessor. We should meditate upon the mission of Him who came to save his people from their sins. As we thus contemplate heavenly themes, our faith and love will grow stronger, and our prayers will be more and more acceptable to God, because they will be more and more mixed with faith and love. They will be intelligent and fervent. There will be more constant confidence in Jesus, and a daily, living experience in his power to save, to the utmost, all that come unto God by him. (ST April 18, 1906)

God has surrounded us with nature's beautiful scenery to attract and interest the mind. It is His design that we should associate the glories of nature with His character. If we faithfully study the book of nature, we shall find it a fruitful source for contemplating the infinite love and power of God. (RH July 25, 1871)

Mark Twain
"The Nature, which delights in periodic repetition in the heavens,is the same nature which rules the affairs here on Earth. Let us not forget that lesson."

Look at the wonderful and beautiful things of nature. Think of their marvelous adaptation to the needs and happiness, not only of man, but of all living creatures. The sunshine and the rain, that gladden and refresh the earth, the hills and seas and plains, all speak to us of the Creator's love. It is God who brings the bud to bloom, the flower to fruit. It is He who supplies the daily needs of all His creatures. (ML 294)

What happens when this is done?

The heart is quickened, and throbs with new and deeper love, mingled with awe and reverence, as we contemplate God in nature. (RH July 25, 1871)

In heaven, God is all in all. There, holiness reigns supreme; there is nothing to mar the perfect harmony with God. If we are indeed journeying thither, the spirit of heaven will dwell in our hearts here. But if we find no pleasure now in the contemplation of heavenly things; if we have no interest in seeking the knowledge of God, no delight in beholding the character of Christ; if holiness has no attractions for us, then we may be sure that our hope of heaven is vain. Perfect conformity to the will of God is the high aim to be constantly before the Christian. He will love to talk of God, of Jesus, of the home of bliss and purity which Christ has prepared for them that love Him. The contemplation of these themes, when the soul feasts upon the blessed assurances of God, the apostle represents as tasting "the powers of the world to come." (5T 745)

The knowledge of God, as revealed in Christ, is the knowledge that all who are saved, must have. It is the knowledge that works transformation of character. This knowledge, received, will re-create the soul in the image of God. It will impart to the whole being, a spiritual power that is divine. (MH 425)

We are led by Jesus through the New Jerusalem to our houses. At the front of the house our new name was engraved in gold. Even though there are hundreds of millions of people, Jesus could do it all in one day. Between the river banks and their houses, are the most beautiful gardens with all sorts of flowers. Golden footpaths lead from the front door of their houses down to the water's edge where they could swim or fly up to the branches in the Tree of Life.

At the edge of these footpaths are precious stones like diamonds and opals embedded in the edge and these shone with incredible beauty. With their super vision and powers, they could see perfectly, people on the other side of the river twenty kilometers away, and talk to them. Their houses had beautiful walls of gold and floors of polished granite. The roofs were supported by pillars of glistening marble that had all the colors of the rainbow through it. Jesus would open the door and let us in and then go on to the next house. Our guardian angel would then give us a guided tour of the house and its rooms.

When we saw the place Jesus had made for us, we were so overwhelmed by the magnificence and glory of what was in front of us, that it was impossible to describe. As we stepped inside our new home, we realized that this is where we are going to be living forever! The inside of the buildings was so stunning and bright that it took us days just to accept that, this was our own home forever and we would never be leaving.

After looking at our new home, we walked down the golden streets and would meet someone and tell them of the wonderful house Jesus and had made for us. They to, had the same story and we would invite each other to go and see each other’s homes.
The rooms were bright with the light of God and the furniture was made of precious metals and gemstones that radiated million of colors with the light reflected through it. You didn't need to turn the light on here! The cloth was soft and metallic in color. There were golden tables and bowls and cups made of diamonds and platinum full of all sorts of fruits, nuts, cakes, sweet things and all sorts of fruit juices to drink.

The chairs were made of polished metal with all sorts of pearls and colors stones glued to them.
The view out of anyone’s window allowed them to see the throne of God and the other beautiful buildings and gardens. We can look outside with our x-ray vision and see our next-door neighbor 100 kilometers away and call them mentally to come and visit us or just chat about how wonderful the paradise of God is. Because the floors and ceilings are made of transparent materials, I can see people in the rooms above and below me and we wave and talk to each other all the time.

The buildings in the New Jerusalem are enormous. Some of them are over sixty kilometers high.
They do not have stairs. If we wanted to go to the top, we simply fly to the floor we wanted to go and land on the balcony. At the top of the building was a view no mortal mind can imagine. The city was made of gold, silver and all manner of precious metals and gemstones. With the glory of God illuminating every building, in it shone with a million colors. It was like looking at a trillion rainbows of light. With our new x-ray vision we can see millions of colors and frequencies we had never seen before.

We see angels and saints continually ascending and descending from their travels to other galaxies and planets. The view is even better from the Moon where we can look down and see the whole Earth and the New Jerusalem looks like a giant gemstone of brilliant light. In the New earth the Moon is as bright as the Sun with the glory of the holy city shining on it.
Our apartments are huge with all the things you could imagine and much more. The food and drink in our apartments never runs out and you don't need to wash dishes, or throw scraps out either.

We have musical instruments to play whenever we want to, and with our super powers, we can play perfectly the first time. We can play and compose music at the same time, such as no human has ever heard. We also had super powers to make furniture and artworks out of whatever materials we wanted. We would ask God for materials, and the materials would be instantly supplied. We then fashioned them with our super powers into amazing objects to adorn our new home.

You will be able to make a grand piano out of Platinum. It is covered with precious stones and engraved with delicate artwork. The white keys are made of silver and the 'black' keys are made of Rhodium. The strings are made of pure Palladium.

The Holy Spirit appears to us at any time, to be our teacher and answer many questions we have. He takes on a visible human like form and we talk to him face to face. We are taught all manner of scientific truths that we grasp instantly and never forget. He also takes us on exploration trips throughout the universe showing us wonders beyond belief.
We are soon to go exploring the Great Wall of galaxies with Him.

This wall is 300 million light years wide, and joins the Coma cluster to the Hercules cluster of Galaxies. Even larger still is the 500 million light year wide wall of galaxies that joins the Virgo, Hydra and Centaurus clusters, and eventually merges with the Pavo cluster on the other side of the Milky Way itself. As we travel from place to place the Holy Spirit talks to us face to face and answers all of the difficult questions we have wondered about. Because he is God, he can appear to every one at once. The greatest thing about being in the Holy City is, seeing God face to face and worshipping Him every day. We then walked out of the New Jerusalem over to the edge of the Crystal Sea and looked out into space. Standing on the edge, you see the starry heavens above and in front of you.

What an amazing place to spend eternity.

During the Thousand Years, we take part in the judgment, and God allows us to look at the books to see that every case has been judged fairly and accurately. A huge screen is before us and all we have to do is think, and the image and sound is portrayed before us. We not only see what was done, and hear what was said, but we also can see the thoughts and motives of every person. The whole life story is before us, from birth to death. If you have any question about a person or group of people, we think about it and all the data comes up on the screen before us. After looking at all the details, we are all convinced of the soundness of God's judgments, and we exclaim that God’s judgments are just. We see how God's angels protected us from harm and lead us into the truth. We praise God for His love towards us.
(I do not recall where this quote came from.)

Ephesians 3:14-19
Paul says,
"For this cause, I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

Exodus 15:26 says: ...."If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee".

If we listen, we will not need those things above.

Diet and Lifesyle

5/12/2009
There is a lot of people out there that believe there is no need for deit and lifestyle changes. Read the following news release, dated 5/12/09.

Social Security and Medicare are fading even faster under the weight of the recession, heading for insolvency years sooner than previously expected, the government warned today.
Social Security will start paying out more in benefits than it collects in taxes in 2016, a year sooner than projected last year, and the giant trust fund will be depleted by 2037, four years sooner, trustees reported.

Medicare is in even worse shape. The trustees said the program for hospital expenses will pay out more in benefits than it collects this year, just as it did for the first time in 2008. The trustees project that the Medicare fund will be depleted by 2017, two years earlier than the date projected in last year's report.

The trust funds — which exist in paper form in a filing cabinet in Parkersburg, W.Va. — are bonds that are backed by the government's "full faith and credit" but not by any actual assets. That money has been spent over the years to fund other parts of government. To redeem the trust fund bonds, the government would have to borrow in public debt markets or raise taxes.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, the head of the trustees group, said the new reports were a reminder that "the longer we wait to address the long-term solvency of Medicare and Social Security, the sooner those challenges will be upon us and the harder the options will be."

Geithner said that President Barack Obama was committed to working with Congress to find ways to control runaway growth in both public and private health care expenditures, noting the promise Monday by major health care providers to trim costs by $2 trillion over the next decade.

However, Republicans pointed to the newly dire assessments as evidence the Obama administration has failed to come forward with actual entitlement reform to close the funding gaps.

"Instead of getting existing public programs in order right now, some are saying we should create a new government-run health insurance plan," Sen. Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Finance Committee, said in a reference to the administration's health care proposals.

"When we can't afford the public health plan we have already, does it make sense to add more?"
House Republican leader John Boehner said the trustees report "confirms what we already knew: Our nation cannot afford to continue this reckless borrowing and spending spree."

The findings in the trustees report, the annual checkup given the two benefit programs, did not come as a surprise. Private economists had been predicting that the dates the programs would begin to pay out more than they take in and the dates the trust funds would be insolvent would occur sooner given the economic recession.

The deep recession, the worst the country has endured in decades, has resulted in a loss of 5.7 million jobs since it began in December 2007. The unemployment rate hit a 25-year high of 8.9 percent in April.

Fewer people working means less being paid into the trust funds for Social Security and Medicare.

The Congressional Budget Office recently projected that Social Security will collect just $3 billion more in 2010 than it will pay out in benefits. A year ago, the CBO had projected that Social Security would have a much higher $86 billion cash surplus for the 2010 budget year, which begins Oct. 1.

The trustees report projected that Social Security's annual surpluses would "fall sharply this year," then remain at a reduced level in 2010 and be lower in the following years than last year's projections. The report said that the Social Security annual surplus would be eliminated entirely in 2016, reflecting increased demands from the wave of 78 million baby boomers retiring.

That means Social Security will have to turn to its trust fund to make up the difference between Social Security taxes and the benefits being paid out beginning in 2016. The trustees projected the trust fund would be depleted in 2037, four years earlier than the 2041 date in last year's report.

At that point, the annual Social Security taxes collected would be enough to pay for three-fourths of current benefits through 2083. To tap the trust fund, the government would have to increase borrowing or raise taxes because Social Security bonds exist only as bookkeeping entries.

While the smaller surpluses that will begin this year will not have any impact on Social Security benefit payments, the government will need to borrow more at a time when the federal deficit is already exploding because of the recession and the billions of dollars being spent to prop up a shaky banking system.

Medicare's condition is more precarious, reflecting the pressures from soaring health care costs as well as the drop in tax collections.

The options available to deal with the Social Security shortfall include raising the payroll tax that funds Social Security, such as removing the cap on income subject to the tax, or cutting benefits in some fashion such as raising the retirement age.

The administration is pushing Congress to pass legislation this year to extend health care coverage to some 50 million uninsured Americans, preferring to tackle health care before Social Security.

The trustees report is likely to set off renewed debate over Social Security and Medicare. Critics have charged that the Obama administration has failed to tackle the most serious problems in the budget — soaring entitlement spending.

The administration on Monday revised its federal deficit forecasts upward to project an imbalance this year of $1.84 trillion, four times last year's record, and said the deficits will remain above $500 billion every year over the next decade.
